View ShowroomLoyal members, the curtains have closed on what can only be described as a resounding success at the Europe and Emerging Markets ATMs and Cash Summit. As we reflect on the last few days, it's clear that this summit couldn't have arrived at a more pivotal moment. In a world where the financial landscape is evolving at breakneck speed, driven by technological innovations that affect every aspect of our lives, this event was a beacon of insight and collaboration.
Over the course of a day and a half, we embarked on a mission - a mission to explore, to share insights, and to collaborate on the strategies that will propel the growth of ATMs and cash management in Europe and emerging markets. The discussions were dynamic, the interactions vibrant, and the takeaways invaluable. But that's not all. We're thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative, the Europe and Emerging Markets Advocacy Council. This endeavour marks a significant milestone in our ongoing quest to advocate for the interests and advancement of the ATM industry in these regions.
To kick-start this remarkable initiative, we lined up a captivating Advocacy Council Panel Session, serving as the grand finale to our conference. This session, featuring experts from across the industry, promises to be a defining moment in the advocacy for ATMs and cash management in Europe and emerging markets.
Our lineup of presentations delved deep into the most pressing issues facing our industry. We explored the evolving role of ATMs in a digital-first world, grappled with the security challenges posed by ever-changing cyber threats, discussed the vital importance of interoperability in extending access to cash, and marvelled at the innovative approaches that are reshaping the ATM user experience. Each presentation was meticulously designed to equip you with actionable insights that you can carry back to your organizations, igniting positive change.
One of the most striking aspects of this year's summit was the incredible diversity of representation. Hailing from at least 25 countries, our attendees transformed this event into a global gathering, reflecting the global strength and significance of the ATM industry.
Beyond the enriching presentations, our exhibitor hall served as a thriving hub of innovation and collaboration. It was a space where you could explore cutting-edge technologies, solutions, and services from industry-leading companies.
As we close this chapter of the summit, we look forward to one more board meeting at the end of the year with Per Valstad of TietoEvry and extend our warmest welcome to Gavin Reubenson of Paycorp, our new and incoming Chairman of the Board for 2024. We extend our heartfelt thanks to both for their unwavering support and loyalty.
In the wake of this summit's immense success, the future of ATM and cash management in Europe and emerging markets appears brighter than ever. We're excited to continue this journey with you, armed with the insights, collaborations, and innovations we've gathered at this remarkable event. The future is bright, and we're eager to explore it together.
For next year’s event, we promise to make the agenda as engaging as this year. We are happy to announce that it will be a homecoming. ATMIA Europe and Emerging Markets ATMs and Cash Summit will be in London. I look forward to meeting you all again soon!
