As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create uncertainty early in 2021, and with recent news and updated government restrictions, Everlink continues to demonstrate resiliency during these unique times.
In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, effective Thursday, January 14, 2021at 12:01 a.m., the Ontario government is issuing a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or for essential work. The official News Release by the Ontario government can be accessed here: https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/59922/ontario-declares-second-provincial-emergency-to-address-covid-19-crisis-and-save-lives.
Everlink has reviewed the latest announcement from the Ontario government and does not foresee that recently announced measures will have any impact on Everlink ’s services to its clients. We want to assure our clients and partners that Everlink continues to operate under the processes and practices outlined in our detailed Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Our BCP, which we continuously review and update as appropriate, is designed to provide for (among other things) remote access and teleworking operations, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted full-service business operations. The health and safety of our staff, clients and partners remains a top priority.
Everlink recognizes the importance of maintaining communication continuity with our clients and partners, particularly in these uncertain and evolving circumstances. Everlink Account Management and Client Services teams (including Incident Management and National Client Support Centre) will continue to communicate with our clients and partners via their established channels for all matters relating to the services provided by Everlink.
Everlink continuously monitors and communicates with our facilities and service providers to align and coordinate our overall business continuity plans and practices. Everlink continues to be well positioned, organized and fully capable to support continuity of critical service delivery.
Stay safe, and please call if you have any questions or concerns.
