As we step into the month of November, we find ourselves with only two months remaining in what has been an eventful and transformative year for the Europe and Emerging Markets regions. This edition of our newsletter is dedicated to keeping you updated on the latest developments, upcoming events, and initiatives that are shaping our landscape.

Upcoming Events:

1. The Last Board Meeting of 2023

We would like to remind all our valued members that the final Board meeting of the year is scheduled for December 7th at 11 am UK time. This meeting is a crucial opportunity to reflect on the past year's achievements and to set the course for the year ahead. Your active participation is highly encouraged, as your input plays a pivotal role in the decisions we make.

2. Mentorship Program

In an effort to bring fresh talent and innovative ideas into the industry, we are in the planning stages of a mentorship program. We invite you to share your thoughts and ideas on how we can best execute this initiative. Please reach out to us if you have any suggestions or would like to be involved in this effort.

3. New Chairman of the Board

It gives us immense pleasure to announce and congratulate Gavin Reubenson, Group CIO of Paycorp, for being elected as the EEM Chairman of the Board for 2024. With his wealth of experience and innovative thinking, we have every reason to be optimistic about the future. We would also like to express our deep gratitude to Per Valstad for his outstanding leadership as the Chairman this year.

4. Membership Renewals

As we approach the end of the year, we kindly request all members to send in their membership renewal payments as early as possible. This will help us close the year on a strong financial footing and continue to provide the valuable services and information that you have come to expect from the Europe and Emerging Markets community.

5. Referral Program

Just a reminder to take advantage of the referral program designed to benefit both existing members and potential new members. Current members who refer a new member will receive a discount on their renewal, and the new member will receive a substantial discount on their initial membership fee. This initiative not only rewards our loyal members but also expands our community with like-minded professionals.

We appreciate your continued support, and we look forward to an exciting and productive end to the year. Your involvement and contributions are what make our regions vibrant and strong.
