INVITATION TO PARTNER IN A NEW UMBRELLA ENTITY, IN RETAIL PAYMENTS - OPPORTUNITY FOR TRADE, COMMERCE, INVESTMENTS

Central Bank (Reserve Bank of India-RBI) had announced that with a view to minimize the concentration risk in retail payment systems, from a financial stability perspective and to foster innovation and competition, the Reserve Bank would encourage more players to participate in and promote pan-India payment platforms.

Objective

To set-up pan-India umbrella entity / entities focussing on retail payment systems. Such entity shall be a Company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 and may be a ‘for-profit’ or a Section 8 Company as may be decided by it.

EPS:

EPS is extremely excited about this development given our deep and rich experience in the payments industry in India spanning 100+ years cumulatively, and the products & solutions that EPS has been developing in-house that quite aligns with the objectives & intent of the said framework.

EPS is now looking for Payment system/ processing companies/Technology companies and/or co-promoter(s) who would be keen to join hands with us to take this forward and god willing, set up new entity which is a class apart.
