Sargent & Greenleaf Names Brian Leary as President

A world leader in high-security locks and locking systems, Sargent & Greenleaf (S&G) has appointed Brian Leary as its new president, effective today. The announcement was made by Chris Casazza, Chief Executive Officer, S&G Family of Brands, to whom Leary will report. As president, Leary will provide strategic leadership across all areas of the
company, guiding the day-to-day management and spearheading key corporate growth initiatives.
“I’m thrilled to have Brian back at S&G in this key leadership position,” said Casazza. “His knowledge and relationships with our key suppliers and his strong connections with our customer base makes him uniquely qualified to further solidify the company’s reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality, innovative products.”
Leary brings more 25 years of experience in commercial and retail security and building products, including nearly four years as Chief Operating Officer of S&G when the company was under former parent company Stanley Black & Decker. He joins S&G from Senneca Holdings, where he served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for the PE-backed diversified products company. His prior roles within Senneca included President of both the Commercial and Industrial Group and the Industrial Business Group.

Before his tenure as COO of S&G, He served as Senior Vice President for the Precast Concrete Division at Reading Rock, Inc. Before that, he led Allegion’s Commercial Door Systems and Hollow Metal division as General Manager, part of the business group that included the Von Duprin, LCN, Steelcraft and Ives brands. He started his career as Group Product Manager for the Bathing Fixture and Sink Division at Kohler Co.
