U.S. Annual Conference #25 was Amazing!

Our 25^th annual U.S. conference was amazing – and coincidentally began on Valentine’s Day, to boot. Hopefully at least a few of our attendees had something extra to celebrate.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that our February 2021 event shrunk a little and got pushed to June, because of a stubborn pandemic. And the event that followed six months later in 2022 was barely larger. So it is amazing that within a 12-month period, ATMIA and our members and sponsors, generated two, consecutive, near-record conferences in a row. If anyone needed confirmation that this is indeed the largest and most important event focused on the ATM industry, they certainly have it.

Workshops were well-attended, covering cash management for financial institutions; ATM vault access control; and help for businesses looking to expand their cryptocurrency offerings. The security workshop included an ATM crime perspective from law enforcement. And a discussion of best practices for planning an overall security strategy, the impact of human capital, and compliance requirements for lighting. Breakout sessions targeting FI, ISO/IAD, and general ATM industry topics, and plenary sessions on Day 3 rounded out the best educational program in the industry.

Final attendance was an impressive 1,060 – along with 109 exhibitors and sponsors filling the exhibit hall. About 100 attendees represented 47 different financial institutions. There were also 113 attendees representing 30 countries, outside the U.S.

Thank you again to all who participated in any way. We will be back in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace again in 2027. Meanwhile, planning will begin shortly for the 2025 conference in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
