ATMIA Releases Comprehensive Next Gen Standards Guide

Sioux Falls, SD, USA, London, United Kingdom, Sydney, Australia – The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) Next Gen Consortium proudly announces the release of the Next Gen Standards Guide, marking the successful conclusion of Phase-3 in the reinvention of the ATM industry. This ground-breaking guide empowers Next Gen ATM providers to develop, test, and certify Next Gen software, setting the stage for ongoing innovation in the ATM space.

The Next Gen Standards Guide has been meticulously developed through an agile way of working, encompassing the expertise of the Functional Working Group Technical Working Group, and Certification Working Group which involved over 400 companies in 55 countries. These collaborative efforts have resulted in a single source of Next Gen ATM specifications, providing a unified platform for Next Gen ATM providers to drive future innovations in ATMs. 

Key Phases of the Next Gen Standards Guides:

Phase-1: Next Gen ATMIA Implementation Guide 1.0

• Contains NextGen Blueprint, Technical Standards, Vendor Agnostic Functional Flow, and Implementation Model

Phase-2: Next Gen ATMIA Implementation Guide 2.0

• Based on validated reference implementations to tackle the majority of possible Next Gen implementation issues.

Phase-3: Next Gen ATMIA Implementation Guide 2022 Version 3.5 (Just Released)

• Represents the successful conclusion of the industry's collaborative efforts.
• Contains annual NextGen Blueprint review updates and additional Vendor Agnostic Functionality defined by the ATMIA Next Gen Consortium and working groups.
