CALIFORNIA

The Senate Environmental Quality Committee will hold a public hearing June 20 regarding A.B. 1884, which prohibits a food facility, as specified, where food may be consumed on the premises, from providing single-use plastic straws to consumers unless requested by the consumer. DELAWARE

The House Administration Committee will hold a public hearing June 20 regarding S.B. 228, which restores the State Prescription Drug Assistance Program to provide payment assistance for prescription drugs and Medicare Part D costs to the state's low-income senior and disabled citizens who are otherwise ineligible for prescription drug benefits. IDAHO

NEVADA

OHIO

The House Economic Development, Commerce and Labor Committee will hold a public hearing June 19 regarding H.B. 625, which authorizes a person to use an auxiliary container for any purpose, to prohibit a municipal corporation from imposing a tax or fee on auxiliary containers, and to clarify that the existing anti-littering law applies to auxiliary containers.
