The Del Mar City Council will meet October 15 to consider introduction of an ordinance to ban polystyrene and restrict the distribution of straws per request only.

The Santa Barbara City Council will meet October 16 to consider adopting an ordinance restricting the use of plastic beverage straws and plastic stirrers, and the distribution of plastic cutlery within the City.
